Linda Tame was the Principal of two Christchurch secondary schools spanning a period of over 17 years. She currently works as an Education and Leadership Consultant and Independent Director. She is passionate about transforming education to meet the needs of students in our rapidly changing world, and also leads a small Trust, Greater Christchurch Schools’ Network, which is supporting 30 low decile Christchurch schools in bridging the digital divide. Linda’s governance work is as a Director of the Crown Company, Network for Learning Ltd, as Pro-Chancellor (Deputy Chair) of the Lincoln University Council and as Chairperson of Lincoln Hospitality Ltd. Linda is honoured to have been appointed by Christchurch City Council to the Riccarton Bush Trust and takes the responsibility to protect and develop the taonga of Bush, grounds and Deans’ House very seriously. She was appointed in May 2016 for a 3-year term.
